Hi!  Let me share a little bit about myself with you.  I am originally from Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia.  (Yes – I am a yankee!)  I attended a local Catholic grade school, Saint David’s, in Willow Grove and continued onto Saint Basil Academy, a Catholic high school.  Upon my high school graduation, I attended Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management.  

In 1985, I moved to Hatteras where I have since resided.  I am the mother of five children:  Jerry, Bryant, Brianne, Tori, and Asa.  I am the wife to my wonderful husband, Paul.  I need not forget to mention my most beloved dog, Madeline!  My family is a top priority in my life.

When Jerry was in middle school, Paul and I started to become involved in youth group and have increasingly been more involved each year.  Under the direction of Kate Pullen, and with 4 of our children participating in the youth group, my heart became open to the youth of our community.  I found myself being drawn to the youth and having an increasing love and respect for them. After Kate’s resignation, I was asked to fill the director position and the Lord guided my response.
