The Hatteras Charge offers Stephen Ministry to the community.  Stephen ministers are trained to provide one on one Christian care to people who are experiencing personal crises such as bereavement, divorce or illness.  Each church has a Stephen Leader trained by the Stephen Ministries, a nondenominational organization, to conduct training and supervision of Stephen Ministers in this area. 

The Stephen Leaders are: 
                                    Buxton – Mary E. Gray
                                    Little Grove – Pam Stoffel
                                    Hatteras – Helen Wilson
