As many of you know, our little village was devastated by hurricane Isabel in 2003 and again by hurricane Alex in 2004. Through your generous contributions, the HUMC Charge was able to help several of the island's needy families. Having used all those funds to help the hurricane's victims, the church in Hatteras now finds itself in need.
The building floor, after all the floods, has literally rotted away and must be completely replaced. This is a long, emotional and expensive project for the Hatteras church.
