Around this curve your view opens up into a vast salt marsh with a few scattered hammocks (patches of high ground) on which LiveOaks flourish.  Wildlife is abundant and flora such as Saltwort emblazens the Cord Grass in the Fall.   Some of the hammocks along the shore have been used for homesites allowing man to live in this setting awash in beautiful natural vistas.

This ends your tour of Kohler Drive.  You will be returned to the Town Triangle so you may continue the tour on Hwy 12 as it passes through the rest of the Village.
